SAPN and Enerven Electrical Utility Design
Since 1998, Distribution Power Design has provided technical electrical network design consultancy and drafting services to SA Power Networks (SAPN) and Enerven, across South Australia’s distribution network.
This is the core of our work – non-contestable design and drafting delivered to SAPN’s standards, supporting the ongoing operation and development of the network.
Our services include:
- Mains extensions and augmentations
- Feeder automation programs
- Distribution defects
- Quality of supply
- Conductor surveys
- Feeder restrings
- Network modifications and relocations
- Overhead line (OHL) studies and associated drafting
We also provide:
- Overhead mains sag and swing studies, for building projects near existing powerlines
- Design and consultancy for large customer connection (“contestable spot load”) projects
- Design and consultancy for connection point issues related to AS/NZS 3000
- Assistance in dealing with the Office of the Technical Regulator on matters involving the SA Electricity Act and Regulations
How we work
We use PLS-CADD modelling and AutoCAD drafting to deliver designs that meet SAPN and Enerven’s technical requirements.
